The MathEDN website is live!

The latest EWM-NL career support grant helped support Fulya Kula to realize the new MathEDN website. We would like to invite you all to check out the website and share with you Fulya’s comment, which beautifully describes what the project is about.

The journey of building this website began with a simple realization – the potential for applying educational sciences to enhance mathematics education in my own classroom. As an educator, I often found myself experimenting with various teaching methods and approaches. However, the constraints of time and the lack of opportunities to share these experiences with fellow teachers hindered our collective growth.

The idea of creating a network where educators could come together to share ideas and resources emerged as a solution. By collaborating, we could offer valuable tools to students, teachers, and researchers, thereby improving the quality of mathematics education. Furthermore, this network would enable us to stay informed about the latest scientific advancements in education, allowing us to integrate evidence-based practices into our teaching.

I’m immensely grateful to EWM-NL for their generous support, which transformed this concept into a tangible project. Without their backing, it would have remained a mere idea. Today, I’m thrilled to announce that the website, designed to unite this network, is live and ready to serve as a hub for educators, researchers, and mathematics enthusiasts alike.

But the journey is far from over. I look forward to the invaluable support and contributions from individuals who share the passion for teaching and learning mathematics. Together, we can elevate mathematics education to new heights, revolutionizing it by incorporating evidence from educational science. This website is not just a platform; it’s a catalyst for positive change, and I invite you to join us on this transformative journey.
