The word “STEM” stands for “Science Technology Engineering Mathematics”. Given the support of our community for our STEM campaigns in 2020 and 2021, we decided to run this tradition further. The participation of our members and the engagement with our social media was significant: several posts had a few thousand of impressions and 60% of audience that do not follow our accounts! Thus, in 2022, we initiated a new STEM campaign.
Why joining the STEM campaign?
We believe that “seeing is believing”: when you see a woman doing her job and being happy about it, others are attracted to do the same. For our STEM campaign we ask: “Why do you love mathematics? What challenge do you dream to solve? Are you a girl/woman in STEM, from bachelor student to full professor?” Send us your answer (one or two sentences are more than enough!) to one of these questions and a photo of you (in the lab, at home, while trekking, painting, flying, anything works well!) to: info at ewmnetherlands dot nl
